About Us
"Freedom is hammered out on the anvil of discussion, dissent, and debate." -Hubert H. Humphrey
In ancient Greece, the "Agora" or gathering place was the heart of ancient cities that encouraged the free exchange of political ideas, philosophy, and literature. It was here where a neighbor went to understand the beliefs of another and where the assemblies of people partook in debate and formulated the earliest adaptations of our modern society.
Here at The Agora Project, we are determined to instill a reinvigorated passion for learning in our readers. A passion that not only seeks to understand both sides of a debate but accepts them as a chance to broaden their understanding of society. Most importantly, we encourage the active participation of our readers in all posts. We aspire to be a platform where users can exchange ideas in a safe and accepting environment and learn from one another.
We will always work hard to share new ideas and learning opportunities. Thank you for partaking in our new journey!
